Seriously? WordPress has a feature on the stats page that lets you know what kinds of internet searches bring traffic to the blog. For about the past month or so I’ve gotten numerous versions of “Mod Podging Your Fingernails”. As in multiples per day. Eek. So this is my public service announcement for the day. DON’T!!!!!
Unlike nail polish, Mod Podge will NOT remove with an acetone remover. Or much of anything else if it’s allowed to cure. You will be scraping and sanding/filing it off (and if left too long your nails will more than likely begin to turn mushy, just like the old fake nail glue used to do to them). IF you feel you simply MUST attach scrapbook papers or tissue paper (careful – many of these will bleed the color down and could stain your fingernail!) or whatever to your fingernails, I would say you’re better off either using clear nail polish as your decoupage medium OR decoupaging whatever it is you want onto those stick on/glue on fake nails and THEN attaching them to your own fingernails using the glue that is made for this. Hmmm, this actually sounds kind of fun, lol!
Anyways. That’s my official stance. Mod Podge + fingernails = a big NO!

Thank you! I don’t have any experience with Mod Podge so this is great information to have out there for those who just don’t know
