Moroccan Kingdom Candle Holder

This was a candle holder I picked up at a dollar store for $2. It started its life as a pretty boring piece – just wood with an odd maple shade of stain and rocks in the side sections. I used black paint, Mod Podge (glossy to get that lacquer look), patterned paper from Zsiage (moroccan Kingdom from the Out of Africa collection) and a piece of trim from Making Memories Funky vintage line.
