Totally Challenged Tuesday

This week I was excited about the CPS challenge.  The challenge this week was to take any of their previous 79 sketches and make a card PLUS something else with it – tailor made for me!  If you’ve never thought of using a sketch to alter something, do it!  You can use pictures as the sketch shows, or use those elements to add in different embellishments, papers, or whatever else might work.  It’s even easier with card sketches as they don’t really have spaces for photos.  One of my favorite spots for sketches is Page Maps by Becky Fleck.  I really love the round maps here – perfect for clocks!

For the CPS challenge, I made this card and matching wooden gift bag.  I chose sketch #7 to work from and used cherryArte papers from one of their earlier lines, Classic Coffee, which I’ve always LOVED.  The buttons are from 7gypsies and backed with the round medallions from one of the papers.
